"All for one & one for all" , (SMA 1625), is the Lieutenant Pigeon
CD single recorded to celebrate 50 years since the release of,
"Mouldy Old Dough". It features many of the attributes and
atmospheres of that big selling hit of 1972 and is accompanied by
two other great tracks, "Warm Whispers", and, a blast from the past,
"And the fun goes on". We're keeping our prices the same for 2022 so please send your cheques for £4.99p, (p&p inc), made out to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
To commemorate Coventry's City of Culture year Lieutenant Pigeon
have released this tribute CD to their home town of Coventry. "Back
Home in Coventry", (SMA 1624), plus three other locally connected
songs appear on this magnificent CD. The price
remains at £4.99p (inc p&p). The title track, "Back Home", is a
reflection on all that has changed over the years in this fine city. Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
Something very special for this rather special
or 'strange' year. This is the first CD we've ever issued without an
artist's credit. "Awareness" is a compilation of five great tracks
aimed at making the listener think. It starts naturally enough with
a song about the Covid 19 virus, "When all this is over". Four other
tracks accompany this song. They are: "We don't need 20 20 vision",
"Gone but not forgotten", "It's our turn now", and lastly, "Far
beyond the universe". The catalogue number is SMA 1623 and the price
remains at £4.99p (inc p&p) Cheques made payable to our usual address. |
The first Stavely Makepeace release for the new decade is this three track compilation of love songs. The main track is "Cecelia", (SMA1622). The boys originally penned this song over 50 years ago but recently re-recorded it with this haunting new backing track. Together with Chance of a Lifeline" and "You are the real thing" the price for this wonderful CD remains at £4.99p (inc p&p) Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
To celebrate 50 years of making records, Makepeace Music are proud to announce the release of the latest Lieutenant Pigeon single, "Hold Me Down", (SMA 1621). Coupled with "Sprintime in Hillfields 1952" and "Auntie Peggy's Teggies" this is marvellous value at £4.99 (p&p inc). Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
One last release for 2018! "Tonight (You Belong to Me)" is an instrumental version of a fabulous old song from the 1950s. This Lieutenant Pigeon rendition is probably the first instrumemntal version the song has ever known. Coupled with "Tonight" and "Warm Whispers" is an appropriate festive number, "Christmas Party Time". Excellent value again, we are holding the price at £3.99p. (SMA 1620) Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
As we mentioned last year, due to popular demand, we'll still be issuing a limited number of CDs. The first for this year continues the theme of "stab"singing we introduced last year with "A Big Red Set of Drawers". This time Stavely Makepeace have come up with a real winner. "I Want You Want" (SMA 1619) features this innovative style of singing again. Track 2, "Treasured Memories" deals with an emotional subject, the loss of a loved one. Lastly, "Get a Grip" will thrill the traditionalist Stavely fan! Yet again we are holding the price at £3.99p. Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
It's 45 years since Mouldy Old Dough got to number one! To celebrate this milestone we're issuing this hour long DVD called "The first 30 years" (SMA VID 002). It was originally made to celebrate Rob Woodward's 50th birthday so the original content is analogue. However, a little 'cleaning up' here and there has rendered it presentable for the 21st century. Besides, it contains some priceless interviews with the boys and some press reports which sadly no longer exist. This is a great collectors item and certainly one for posterity! The price is £9.99p (inc p&p). Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
Another first. This CD features two Stavely Makepeace tracks and two Lieutenant Pigeon tracks! (SMA 1618). "A Big Red Set of Drawers" by Stavely M introduces the boys new invention, 'stab singing'. See what you think. Back up Stavely track is, "You'll Never Take the Rock 'n Roll From Me". The main Pigeon track is "Swinging Tom" c/w "Heaven Bless the Judge". Once again we are holding the price at £3.99p (inc p&p) Cheques made payable to N Fletcher to our usual address. |
As a 'one off' special we're issuing this Lieutenant Pigeon Christmas CD "Santa Bring My Baby Back To Me" (SMA 1617).... Bring on the festive season!! Coupled with "The King Street Shuffle" and
"Melancholy Holly", this CD is excellent value at £3.99 (inc p&p). |
New for the summer of 2015 is Stavely Makepeace's
"Time Marches On". (SMA 1807). An appropriate track to end our
series of CDs with! The boys wrote this song some 15 years ago but
forgive the pun, it stands the test of time! There's a bonus of
three extra tracks too so don't miss this great collectors item.
Only £3.99p (inc p&p). |
Webster Levington makes his debut! This enigmatic
character has been waiting in the wings for a long time but finally
he makes his grand entrance with this first single, "Magnifico".
Coupled with, "Shake Rag in my Soul" and, "The Fish Man". Three
great titles for the magnificent price of only £3.99p (inc p&p). SD
1007. |
Wow, Lieutenant Pigeon have hit the jackpot
again! This is the best 'singalong' in years. "Fish and Chips" is
guaranteed to get you singing and make your mouth water! Coupled
with "Our Ada is a Brick" and "Spangles", this CD is magnificent
value at £3.99p (inc p&p). SMA 1616. |
Another marvellous Stavely single for 2014. "When"
may have been a succesful song for two different acts in the past,
but such a great song will never outdate. The boys version of it is
simply stupendous. Also on this CD can be found the enigmatic "Simon
Bates Overture" and "Keep on Dancing". Still only £3.99 (inc p&p).
SMA 1806. |
Stavely Makepeace have a brand new CD! "Vanity" is
the earthy rocky song we've been waiting for. Back to the 'no holds
barred scrap iron Stavely!'. Two other tracks accompany this great
tune, "Summertime Blues" and "Acker the Handyman". Another great
deal at only £3.99p (inc p&p) SMA 1805. |
New for 2013, "Dear Johm", (SMA 1615), is the sad
story of a spurned lover and his estranged partner. Once again we
feature Rob's talented daughter Lauren on harmony vocals. Coupled
with two excellent back up tracks, "Shoe String" and "The Ghost of
Midsomer", this CD is great value at £3.99p (inc p&p). |
Here's a first for us. As it's 40 years since the
boys got to number one we're issuing this magnificent DVD to
celebrate the occasion. Remember this is a DVD not a CD.

A Stavely Makepeace 'double A' side. Two entirely different faces of the band. To celebrate forty years since the first Stavely Makepeace release, here's a single which is every bit as exciting as that first one, "Mad Dog". Oughligge Zammakk Gheullikk SMA1803, owes its origins to a meeting the boys had in the early days with Chief Armmamabibi Bandalusi of the Oolizamma tribe in Africa's Chombusi Valley. Now, all these years later they have produced this stunning tribute to those brave warriors who constantly fight for the freedom of their homeland. Two other tracks accompany this energetic single, "This is what we want" and "Hangman Hangman" making this CD superb value at £3.99 (inc p&p).
